Welcome to LoanPal. By accessing or using LoanPal (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use LoanPal.

1. The Service

LoanPal provides free, browser-based financial calculators for educational and informational purposes. The Service includes calculators for mortgages, loans, debt payoff, budgeting, compound interest, and other financial topics. Optionally, you may create an account to save calculator inputs ("scenarios") for future reference.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use LoanPal. If you are under 18, you may use LoanPal only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. User Accounts

• Account creation is optional. You can use all calculators without an account.
• If you create an account, you are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. No Financial Advice Disclaimer

LoanPal provides informational tools, not personalized advice. Specifically:

• Calculator results are mathematical estimates based on the inputs you provide. They do not account for all real-world variables such as taxes, fees, market conditions, or individual financial circumstances.
• Any "scores," "grades," or "recommendations" shown in calculators (such as the Mortgage Health Score or budget tips) are general informational features. They are not credit ratings, loan approvals, or professional assessments.
• Lender information, rates, and links shown on LoanPal are for informational purposes only. LoanPal does not endorse any lender and does not guarantee any rates, terms, or availability. LoanPal may receive referral compensation from lenders.
• Blog articles and educational content are general information, not personal financial guidance.
• You should always consult a licensed financial advisor, mortgage broker, CPA, or attorney before making significant financial decisions.

5. Accuracy of Results

While we strive to make our calculators mathematically correct, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any calculation. Results may differ from actual financial outcomes due to rounding, changing interest rates, tax laws, fees, and other factors not modeled by our tools. You use LoanPal results at your own risk.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use LoanPal for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to LoanPal systems or other user accounts.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access LoanPal in a way that degrades the service for other users.
• Reproduce, redistribute, or sell LoanPal content or tools without written permission.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and trademarks on LoanPal are owned by LoanPal or its licensors. You may use LoanPal for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, or distribute LoanPal content without our prior written consent.

Calculator results generated from your inputs are yours to use, save, print, or share for personal purposes.

8. Third-Party Links and Lenders

LoanPal may display links to third-party websites, including lender websites. These links are provided for convenience only. LoanPal does not control, endorse, or guarantee the content, products, or services of any third-party site. Your interactions with third-party sites are governed by their terms and privacy policies.

LoanPal may receive referral fees or compensation from third parties when you click on or interact with their links. This does not affect your cost but may influence which lenders or services are displayed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoanPal and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of LoanPal after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with changes, please stop using LoanPal.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida. If you access LoanPal from another state, you consent to the jurisdiction of Florida courts for any disputes arising from these Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to LoanPal at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will remain in effect.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
